Resume's will not be considered if we do not have a completed QBH employment application on file For a rapidly growing outpatient Mental Health facility, Quality Behavioral Health is looking for another full-time Youth Partner to join our WISe team. The Youth Partner works in a team setting and advocates for youth receiving services for mental health, substance abuse, and/or is involved with Juvenile Justice System. Applicants must have their own personal lived experience, and be willing to share those experiences, with receiving services from the Mental Health, Child Welfare, Developmental Disabilities and/or Juvenile Justice Systems. Applicants must use their knowledge to empower, educate and support youth experiencing similar challenges. Applicant must act as a role model and be comfortable sharing their story in a professional manner. WISe is a Washington State Wraparound Intensive Services Program that provides comprehensive behavioral health services with supports to Medicaid eligible youth with complex behavioral needs. Using the wrap around model, WISe relies on the strengths of an entire team to meet the youth and family's needs. Coordination between all partners and team members is essential to achieving positive outcomes. QBH provides outpatient crisis services to WISe clients and his or her family members. Work directly with WISe and QBH crisis staff while under the supervision of the Program Manager and in accordance with agency specified standards to address lower level crisis issues. Applicants must be able to complete clinical and billing documentation, attend multi-disciplinary staffing and supervision meetings, implement supervisory directives and other instructions, and work cooperatively with all agency staff to ensure clients receive appropriate care. Be able to maintain a non-judgmental attitude throughout the process, with the client and other WISe partners. High school diploma or GED and lived experience as a youth with complex mental health needs are required. Must be eligible for Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration; obtain Peer Counselor certification, and be able to complete WISe training.
