We are seeking a motivated Licensed Professional Counselor In-Training (LPC-IT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker In-Training (LCSW-IT) to join our Madison team. This unique opportunity provides supervised clinical training in both psychotherapy and psychological assessment services, allowing clinicians to develop a diverse and highly marketable skill set. Position Overview Psychotherapists-In Training at BHC gain supervised experience providing psychotherapy services in a private practice setting while also receiving training and hands-on experience in psychological testing and assessment. This role is ideal for clinicians seeking comprehensive post-graduate training and mentorship within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Clinical Training Opportunities Psychotherapy Experience Provide supervised psychotherapy services including: Individual therapy Family therapy Couples therapy Group therapy Common referral concerns include: Anxiety disorders Mood disorders Childhood behavioral concerns Autism Spectrum Disorder Eating disorders Adjustment disorders Trauma-related concerns Group Therapy Opportunities Current treatment groups include: Social Skills Groups Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Groups Clinicians are encouraged to develop and facilitate additional groups based on their interests, experience, and developing competencies. Psychometrist & Psychological Testing Training In addition to therapy services, clinicians will receive supervised training and experience in psychological assessment, including: ADHD evaluations Learning disability assessments Developmental disorder evaluations Executive functioning assessments Cognitive assessments Anxiety and mood disorder evaluations Pre-adoption evaluations Pre-surgical psychological evaluations This unique training opportunity allows clinicians to build valuable assessment competencies while working alongside experienced psychologists and testing specialists. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related behavioral health field Active Wisconsin LPC-IT or LCSW-IT credential Eligible to provide outpatient psychotherapy services under supervision Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to evidence-based and ethical clinical practice Desire to learn and grow within a multidisciplinary team environment Preferred Qualifications Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or families Interest in psychological testing and assessment Interest in developing specialty clinical expertise Compensation and Benefits BHC offers competitive compensation with both salaried and fee-for-service opportunities. Compensation arrangements are based on organizational needs, the clinician's qualifications and experience, availability, anticipated caseload, and preferred way of working. Fee-for-service positions provide greater scheduling flexibility and the opportunity for clinicians to influence their earnings based on the services they provide.
