Hours:

Monday-Friday, on average 10 hrs/day, sometimes it can be up to 12-hour days (flexibility required); occasional weekend availability appreciated (minimal).

Paid Time Off Benefits:

Nanny will earn 1 week (40 hours) of paid time off every 6 months and 2 weeks (80 hours) per year. PTO may be used for any reason, including; vacation, illness, medical appointments, family care, and personal business. In addition to, 6 paid federal holidays which fall on the nanny's normal Monday-Friday working day (New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day).

Yes, using candidate's own vehicle with mileage reimbursement

Childcare Responsibilities:

Care for the child during work hours, including school drop-off and pick-up Teach life skills including cleaning up toys, making bed, organizing play areas, and putting away belongings Work on emotional intelligence to help the child understand and process feelings Maintain consistent routines Engage in educational and developmental activities Model and reinforce organizational skills and cleanliness habits Provide detailed daily communication about the child's emotional state, activities, and development Provide nurturing, developmentally appropriate care tailored to child's needs and interests Plan and lead engaging educational activities: indoor and outdoor play, arts & crafts, practice preschool fun worksheet skills at home (alphabet and numbers), read books, outdoor walks, toddler friendly outings (Botanical garden, Zoo, Children's Museum etc.) Support developmental milestones, and encourage curiosity and confidence Maintain a screen free environment at home Provide healthy fresh meals and snacks

Household Management:

Keep home organized and clutter-free following Montessori-inspired principles of simplicity Complete household tasks during the child's school time and nap time Maintain clean and organized play areas throughout the day Perform daily and weekly reset tasks Cooking easy weeknight meals for the child and family Manage any house service needs that happen on occasion The Nanny Concierge is hiring experienced, loving, caring and highly-qualified individuals who have a desire to make a difference in the lives of families around the valley.
