Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and experienced Long-Term Full-Time Nanny to join a private household in Dunedin, FL. This position is ideal for a mature, dependable caregiver with previous parenting experience who enjoys supporting a child's education, daily routine, and overall development. The ideal candidate will have experience with elementary-level homeschooling and tutoring , be comfortable taking an active role in the child's academic learning, and provide a warm, structured, and nurturing environment. This is a long-term position for someone who values consistency, reliability, and becoming a trusted part of the family's routine. Responsibilities Provide attentive, nurturing, and reliable care in a private home Support the child's elementary-level homeschool curriculum and daily academic routine Provide tutoring and educational support appropriate to the child's age and learning needs Plan engaging activities that encourage learning, creativity, movement, and personal development Help maintain a consistent daily schedule and positive household routine Prepare simple meals and snacks as needed Assist with age-appropriate personal care and daily routines Keep children's areas and activity spaces clean and organized Provide transportation to activities, appointments, or other outings as needed Encourage independence, confidence, good manners, and positive behavior Communicate professionally with the parents regarding the child's daily activities, progress, and needs Follow the family's values, expectations, and established routines Maintain a safe, patient, and supportive environment at all times Requirements 21+ years old Minimum 5 years of paid childcare experience Previous parenting experience required Elementary school homeschooling and tutoring experience required Christian woman required Active, energetic woman in her 50s required High school diploma or GED CPR & First Aid certification required Reliable personal transportation Ability to commute to Dunedin, FL Clean background check Professional childcare references Loving, patient, dependable, and safety-focused Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable supporting both academic learning and daily childcare responsibilities Comfortable working within the family's Christian values Long-term commitment required
