Dallas First United Methodist Church is seeking a dependable, caring, and nurturing Children's Nursery Worker to join our children's ministry team. This is a part-time, year-round position providing care for infants and toddlers while families participate in church activities. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and can help create a safe, welcoming, and loving environment for our youngest church members. Responsibilities Provide safe, attentive, and nurturing care for infants and toddlers Engage children through age-appropriate play, books, songs, and activities Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming nursery environment Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and caregivers Follow all church policies and Safe Sanctuary guidelines Provide dependable coverage during regularly scheduled nursery hours Assist with nursery coverage for special church events and children's ministry programs as needed

Regular Schedule Wednesdays:

5:00 PM-8:00

PM Sundays:

8:00 AM-12:15 PM Additional hours may be available for special events and children's ministry programs throughout the year. The schedule may vary based on the church calendar. Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday are required days. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Must successfully pass a background check Must be willing to abide by Safe Sanctuary guidelines and child-safety policies Must be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 3 weeks of hire Previous experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children is preferred but not required Must be dependable, responsible, patient, and comfortable caring for multiple young children Must have a genuine love for children and enjoy creating a positive, nurturing environment Why Join Our Team?
