Join Our YMCA Team - PlayLearn Staff Do you enjoy working with children and helping create a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for families? The Family Y is looking for energetic and dependable PlayLearn Staff to join our team!
Status:
Part-Time | Hourly In this role, you'll work directly with children while helping provide day-to-day leadership in our PlayLearn area. You'll support and guide team members, maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios, lead age-appropriate activities, communicate with parents and members, and help ensure a clean, safe, and positive environment. We're looking for someone who: Is at least 18 years old with a high school education Enjoys working with children and families Demonstrates strong communication, organization, and leadership skills Is dependable, positive, energetic, and a team player Can lift up to 50 lbs. and actively participate in activities with children Can obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 45 days of employment Can successfully complete required background and drug screening Experience working with school-age children or youth programs and education or training in Early Childhood Education/Child Development are preferred.
