KinderCare Learning Companies- Champions is looking for an Area Manager based in Dubuque, IA to lead and support a portfolio of early childhood and school-age programs throughout the market. As an Area Manager, you'll have the opportunity to multiply your impact by helping multiple centers and their leaders succeed. You'll spend your time coaching and developing leaders, solving challenges, visiting programs, building relationships, and looking at the bigger picture across your market. You'll have the opportunity to: Lead and develop Center Directors and teaching teams across multiple locations Coach leaders to build strong, engaged, and high-performing teams Drive consistent quality, health and safety, licensing, and educational excellence Partner with leaders to improve enrollment, retention, staffing, and overall center performance Use business and financial data to identify opportunities and make informed decisions Build strong relationships with families, community partners, licensing authorities, and other stakeholders Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain talented early childhood professionals Celebrate successes while helping leaders work through challenges and achieve their goals Is This You? We're especially interested in connecting with experienced Child Care Directors, Center Directors, or multi-site leaders who are ready for a broader leadership opportunity. You may be a great fit if you: Are Director Qualified in Iowa Have at least 1 year of leadership experience; multi-site leadership experience is preferred Have a strong background in early childhood education and child care operations Love coaching, developing, and motivating other leaders Understand state licensing, quality, staffing, and compliance expectations Are comfortable looking at enrollment, revenue, staffing, and financial performance Have strong business judgment and problem-solving skills Build genuine relationships with families, employees, and community partners Are organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities Are passionate about creating high-quality experiences for children and families A Different Kind of Leadership Role As an Area Manager, you won't be tied to one center every day.
