River Forest-Temporary House Manager A River Forest family with one 13-year-old child is seeking a proactive and organized Temporary House Manager for a six-week position beginning October 13th. They are looking for a dependable self-starter who can take initiative with household responsibilities, assist with their child's after-school needs, and help keep the home running smoothly while one parent recovers from a procedure.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM-6:00 PM 30 hours per week

Start Date:

October 13th

Duration:

Approximately 6 weeks

Compensation:

$30-$33/hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

Drive child to after-school activities and appointments as needed Run household errands Grocery shopping Family laundry General tidying and keeping household spaces organized Meal preparation for the child Help maintain household organization and anticipate day-to-day needs Take the family dog for a daily walk Provide general household support as needed during the six-week placement

Ideal Candidate:

Proactive, motivated, and a strong self-starter Organized and able to work independently Dependable and comfortable taking initiative Strong driving record required Confident and comfortable driving into the city Comfortable with dogs and willing to provide daily walks and care Able to be flexible and attentive to the household's needs

The family can provide a vehicle for all work-related driving. Parking is provided.
