We have an opening for a Childcare Attendant to work approximately 2-4 hours in the evenings . The schedule will vary based on our class schedule, so the number of evenings worked each week is not guaranteed . For example, you may work two evenings per week for a month, then work only one evening—or possibly no evenings—for a few weeks until the next class cycle begins. This position is a good fit for someone who is looking for a small number of evening hours and has flexibility with their schedule. Safe Harbor, a Christ-centered, nonprofit serving women in recovery and women experiencing homelessness has an opening for a part-time childcare attendant. This position is perfect for the person that desires to make a difference in the lives of others while using their skills to further the mission of Safe Harbor.

Primary Job Functions:

Attending to basic physical needs, feeding, and diaper changing Interacting with the children, playing with, reading to, talking to, and listening to Ensure children are signed in and out by a parent or guardian Report any issues to the supervisor

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with children Dependability Flexibility Be willing to submit to and honor the standards outlined in Safe Harbor's Team Code of Conduct. Be committed to furthering Safe Harbor's vision and mission Clean Background Check Must be able to lift 20 + pounds Bending, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling a must. Pediatric CPR will be provided.
