About the Children Child A (11-year-old) is sweet, thoughtful, responsible, and naturally loves to help. He is more introverted and quite independent. He enjoys music, dancing, sketching, movies, reading, and especially Agatha Christie. Child B (7-year-old) is the family's little engineer in the making! He is incredibly curious and loves figuring out how things work and understanding the science behind them. He is also an exceptionally sweet and affectionate child who thrives with love, attention, encouragement, and connection. Child C (5-year-old) is the most energetic of the three and brings a big personality and lots of humor to the family. He loves sports, being active, coloring, and creative activities, while also being a big fan of cuddles and one-on-one attention. About the Nanny The family is looking for someone who can strike that wonderful balance of being warm, loving, patient, and nurturing while also being confident enough to take charge. With three children at different ages and developmental stages, it is especially important that their nanny can remain calm and centered when there are a lot of moving pieces. The right person will be comfortable establishing clear boundaries, following through consistently, navigating sibling dynamics, and keeping the afternoon moving without losing their warmth or sense of humor. This family wants someone who genuinely enjoys children and wants to engage with them rather than simply supervise them. They would love a nanny who takes the time to understand each boy individually and develops a meaningful relationship with each of them. Significant experience caring for multiple children and/or children across different age groups is strongly preferred. A background or education in child development, education, psychology, or a related field would be a wonderful bonus. Responsibilities This is a child-focused afternoon and early evening position, with the nanny taking ownership of the boys' routine from school pickup through the evening. Responsibilities will include school pickup and transportation to after-school activities, as well as helping coordinate and facilitate playdates both in and outside of the family's home. The nanny will help keep track of where everyone needs to be and ensure the boys arrive safely and on time. At home, the nanny will prepare simple snacks and meals as needed and assist the younger boys with their shower or bath routine when necessary. School responsibilities are important to this family. While the 11-year-old is generally independent with homework, the nanny should check in, ensure assignments and responsibilities are completed, and provide assistance when needed. Just as importantly, the family wants someone who will be present and engaged—playing with the boys, getting outside, encouraging their individual hobbies and interests, and helping them work through sibling interactions in a positive and respectful way. Nanny will be expected to reinforce age-appropriate responsibility by encouraging and helping the boys clean up after themselves, put away their belongings, and stay organized as part of their normal routine. The family needs someone capable of managing the group while still recognizing that each child has his own personality, interests, and emotional needs. Reliability and consistency are incredibly important. Ultimately, the family hopes to find someone who can become a trusted part of their weekly routine and confidently take ownership of the afternoon—keeping the boys safe, happy, engaged, organized, and where they need to be while building a loving relationship with each of them.
