POSITION

Child Care Aide (Full-Time) / Child Care Aide (Part-Time) 6:30AM-1:45 PM (FT) / 6:30AM-10:15AM (PT)

SALARY:

$16.36 per hour

LOCATION

Clarkstown Childcare and Early Learning Center We are searching for dynamic caregivers to join our team as we care for the district's youngest students. Childcare Aides support the work of the classroom teacher in the instruction and general care of the children.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

: High School Diploma with substantial experience working with children under 13 years of age. Good knowledge of infant and early childhood development and behavioral and educational principles and practices; good knowledge of child care techniques; ability to relate to and establish a good rapport with children and others; ability to coordinate and direct the work of others; ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position. •Civil Service positions will be filled consistent with Rockland County Department of Personnel's requirements.
