The Learning Experience is seeking an experienced Child Care Center Director to lead our Kings Park early childhood education center. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing teachers, building relationships with families, growing enrollment, and creating an exceptional environment for children and staff. What You'll Do Lead daily operations of a licensed childcare center Recruit, coach, develop, and retain a strong teaching team Build a positive, collaborative center culture Maintain compliance with New York childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements Ensure high-quality early learning and consistent curriculum implementation Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff Lead center tours and support enrollment and family retention Monitor staffing, labor, enrollment, budgets, and center performance Maintain accurate staff and child records Support local marketing and community engagement Qualifications At least 1 year of childcare center management or people leadership experience required; 2+ years preferred Must meet applicable New York State requirements for the Center Director role Early childhood education or licensed childcare experience strongly preferred Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Business, or related field preferred Knowledge of childcare licensing, health, safety, and classroom quality standards Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Must meet applicable background screening, health, and training requirements Why Join TLE $65,000
