Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler and Preschool teacher to join our vibrant team. You must be committed to nurturing and supporting the development of children in a safe, engaging, and positive environment. In this role, you will provide attentive care, foster growth through educational activities, and ensure the well-being of children across various age groups. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create a warm space where children feel valued, supported, and inspired to explore their potential. Spanish speaking teachers are encouraged to apply.
Hours:
Monday - Friday (10:00 am - 6:00 pm) and (2:00 pm to 6:00 pm)
Duties:
Supervise and engage with children during play, learning activities, meals, naps, and outdoor time to promote safety and enjoyment. Implement age-appropriate educational programs that support childhood development milestones and early learning goals. Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic health needs while maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. Manage classroom routines and behavior management strategies to foster positive social interactions and discipline. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and specialists to support children with special education needs or disabilities. Monitor children's progress and document observations to inform ongoing developmental assessments. Maintain safety protocols at all times, including first aid procedures when necessary, ensuring a secure environment for all children.
Skills:
Proven experience working with children in daycare, or nannying roles with classroom management skills. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly preferred to ensure quick response in emergencies. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education settings is an advantage. Strong caregiving abilities combined with excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with families and team members. Ability to manage behavior positively while fostering a nurturing environment for toddlers, infants, and preschoolers. Familiarity with classroom experience including activity planning, toddler care routines, babysitting techniques, and working with young children in various settings. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
