Compensation $30 per hour Paid Holidays and Sick Days Schedule Monday - Friday (35 hours per week) 12 pm - 7 pm Some flexibility for additional hours appreciated Job Summary Seeking an experienced, reliable, and warm nanny to care for two school-aged children ages 7 and 10 in Berwyn. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children, takes initiative, and can help keep family's daily routines organized and running smoothly. The ideal candidate is affectionate, dependable, proactive, and organized, with a natural ability to balance attentive childcare with the practical responsibilities of a busy household. Family is seeking someone who will become a trusted, long-term part of their family's daily life. Responsibilities Pick up children from school and reliably transport them to activities, playdates, and other scheduled commitments. Provide attentive afternoon childcare, homework support, and assistance with evening routines. Prepare healthy dinners for the children. Handle the children's laundry, including washing, folding, and putting away their clothing. Maintain daily tidiness in the kitchen, family room, and common areas, including wiping countertops, doing dishes, vacuuming as needed, and taking out the garbage. Help the children prepare their backpacks, uniforms, and other belongings for the following day. Encourage age-appropriate independence while maintaining consistent routines and a positive, nurturing environment. Household Support Family has a separate housekeeper who handles deep cleaning and family laundry. This position focuses on childcare, the children's laundry, and everyday tidying to help keep the household running smoothly. Ideal Candidate Previous nanny experience with school-aged children. Excellent references. Warm, nurturing, patient, and genuinely engaged with children. Dependable, punctual, organized, and proactive. Comfortable maintaining structure, boundaries, and consistent daily routines. Clean driving record and a safe, reliable car Comfortable around dogs and genuinely loves dogs, as family has a large dog.
