Shifts are available campus-wide in Sugar Land, Missouri City and Rosenberg. We are looking for help specifically for Sunday mornings every week in Sugar Land and Missouri City, Wednesday mornings twice a month in Sugar Land, Thursday mornings twice a month in Missouri City. Contact Cheryl Martin at 281.274.7479 or email, cmartin@sugarcreek.net Duties Supervise children during play, learning activities, meals, rest periods, and outdoor time to ensure safety at all times. Implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, including preschool activities and toddler care. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences. Apply child development instruction techniques to support social-emotional growth, behavioral management, and early learning skills. Administer basic first aid or pediatric first aid when necessary, ensuring children receive prompt and appropriate care. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred, but not required. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR (Childhood First Aid preferred) to ensure readiness for emergencies. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavior management effectively. Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
