Job Description

We are seeking a professional, dedicated, and flexible Childcare Director to join our team. The Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the center, ensure compliance with Texas childcare regulations, and maintain a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment for children, families, and staff. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with Texas Minimum Standards for Childcare Centers and licensing requirements. Oversee daily center operations, schedules, activities, and administrative responsibilities. Communicate with prospective and enrolled families and conduct tours. Manage leads, support enrollment, and ensure required documentation is completed. Supervise, train, and evaluate staff while maintaining training records. Maintain accurate and confidential center, licensing, and employee records. Handle basic bookkeeping, office supplies, and administrative paperwork. Assist with CACFP food program paperwork and record management. Address operational and staff-related issues professionally and efficiently. Promote a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills & Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to problem-solve and work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Qualifications 5+ years of childcare experience required. Previous leadership or administrative experience preferred. Valid driver's license required. Current CPR and First Aid certification. Must meet Texas state education and experience requirements. Must successfully pass all required DFPS background checks.
Pay:
$14.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
