Job Description

This is for an 11:00- 5:30 Position Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Childcare Staff member, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of all ages. In this role, you will support early childhood development by engaging children in educational activities, supervising their daily routines, and fostering positive social interactions. Your energy and compassion will help lay the foundation for children's growth while ensuring their safety and happiness throughout the day. Duties Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and learning activities to ensure safety and well-being Implement age-appropriate educational and developmental activities that promote learning and creativity Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment aligned with health and safety standards Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, behaviors, and daily experiences Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being promptly Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic health needs of infants and toddlers as required Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and guiding children through social interactions Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying or similar settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), and pediatric first aid required or willing to obtain upon hiring Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Ability to follow classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques effectively Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members Must be reliable, patient, energetic, and committed to creating a safe environment for all children This exciting opportunity is perfect for passionate individuals eager to support young learners' growth while gaining valuable experience in childcare. Pay:
$14.50 - $18.50 per hour
