Schedule:

Monday-Friday, with care needed between a 6:30 AM-5:00 PM time window; exact schedule is negotiable based on candidate availability

Guaranteed Hours:

Minimum of 45 hours per week

Compensation:

Base rate of $30

•40 per hour, depending on experience, with applicable overtime

Relocation:

Open to relocation candidates

ABOUT THE FAMILY A

warm, busy professional family in Middleton, Wisconsin is seeking an experienced, highly dependable, and safety-conscious Full-Time Nanny to provide loving, engaging care for their two children, ages 13 months and 8 years. The family lives in a quiet, nature-filled neighborhood within walking distance of parks, playgrounds, and Pheasant Branch Conservancy. They value an active lifestyle, outdoor exploration, reading, creativity, and hands-on play with very limited screen time. Safety and open communication are top priorities for this family. They are looking for a nanny who is attentive, responsible, collaborative, receptive to feedback, respectful of parenting preferences, and consistently aware of the children's surroundings and developmental needs. The family currently has professional housecleaners every other week, so the nanny's household responsibilities will be mainly focused on the children.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care for the children Maintain a safe and appropriately supervised environment at all times Read books, play games, create arts and crafts, incorporate music, and encourage imaginative play Spend time outdoors with the children daily, weather permitting Plan age-appropriate outings, including trips to parks, playgrounds, libraries, museums, and swimming pools Prepare and serve meals and snacks for the children Assist the toddler with feeding, dressing, diapering, naps, and daily routines Assist the school-aged child with routines and activities, as well as transportation to school, as needed Safely transport the children to activities, outings, and appointments Manage household laundry Wash dishes and clean up after the children's meals and activities Keep play areas, the children's rooms, and other spaces used throughout the day tidy and organized Complete light household tasks directly related to the children Communicate regularly with the parents regarding the children's activities, routines, and needs

Highly safety-conscious, attentive, and responsible Capable of exercising excellent judgment and remaining focused and present while caring for children Warm, nurturing, patient, and dependable Experienced in caring for toddlers and school-aged children Energetic and comfortable keeping up with an active toddler Creative and enthusiastic about reading, crafts, art, music, games, and imaginative play Enthusiastic about spending time outdoors Proactive in planning activities and outings Comfortable working in a household with very limited screen time Organized and able to maintain consistent routines A cautious, safe, and confident driver Reliable, communicative, collaborative, and professional Respectful of the family's privacy and parenting preferences Interested in building a positive, collaborative, long-term relationship with the family

REQUIREMENTS

Prior professional nanny experience Significant experience caring for toddlers Experience with school-aged children Fully vaccinated as requested by the family Valid driver's license and excellent driving record Reliable personal vehicle for transporting the children; approved mileage will be reimbursed Ability to work at least 45 hours per week with a schedule falling within the family's 6:30 AM-5:00 PM childcare window Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and exercise discretion
