Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Pastor to serve as the spiritual leader and visionary for New Life Church located in Falkville, Alabama. The ideal candidate will inspire, guide, and nurture members through meaningful worship, biblical teaching, and compassionate pastoral care. Duties Deliver engaging sermons and religious teachings that resonate with diverse audiences, emphasizing biblical theology and Christian principles. Provide spiritual guidance and counseling to individuals and families facing life challenges, including terminal illness, bereavement, and crisis situations. Lead worship services, prayer meetings, and religious events that foster community participation and spiritual development. Offer pastoral counseling with a focus on Christian counseling techniques, conflict management, and crisis intervention to support mental health and well-being. Mentor church staff and congregation members to develop their spiritual gifts and leadership skills. Skills Extensive experience in religious leadership within church settings. Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate Biblical theology clearly and effectively. Proven public speaking abilities that inspire action and foster connection. Written communication skills for sermon preparation and religious teachings. Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts sensitively while maintaining a positive church environment.
