The Discipleship Pastor-Maumelle is responsible for working under the direction of the Campus Pastor and Pastor of Adult Discipleship to assist with leadership and shepherding of the Maumelle campus staff and church body.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Be the primary leader for discipleship: D-Groups, Men s Ministry, Women s Ministry, Young Adults, etc., by recruiting, equipping, resourcing, shepherding, and training leaders, in these key areas Help people who attend Fellowship s Maumelle campus connect to D-Groups Be the primary leader over assimilation which includes Membership, Connection Center, and the connection process Work alongside Campus Pastor to provide and maintain clear vision and leadership Promote a church-wide culture that aligns with the mission and vision of Fellowship Promote a culture that is consistent with the D-Group philosophy that seeks to build relationships, grow spiritually, and live on mission Increase multisite collaboration and unity by participating in ongoing meetings with Adult Discipleship and Connection teams across all campuses Help D-Group leaders move their groups onto local and global missions and service opportunities Assist and/or lead Marriage Ministry, Parenting and/or Discipleship Classes at the Maumelle campus Be available for spiritual counseling as needed Provide teaching and preaching as needed Provide pastoral care for the church family Assist Campus Pastor and staff by engaging in the overall ministry of the campus Participate in campus staff meetings Participate in conferences, church-wide initiatives, and events Ongoing personal development professionally and spiritually Other related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Education and Experience:
Required
Bachelor s degree Preferred
Master s degree from an accredited seminary Preferred
2-3 years of ministry experience in a multisite church
Knowledge and Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook Collaborative mindset, willing to support and unify the broader team Understands how to manage the tension of serving on multiple teams in the same context Ability to lead staff and volunteers with clarity and care Constant learner who is eager to grow in ministry and leadership Able to initiate and drive projects to completion without constant oversight Strong communicator, both in written and verbal formats Compassionate and wise in handling people and pastoral situations Skilled in planning, delegation, and strategic follow through

Work Schedule:
