PRN This is a PRN position - visit rate is $75/visit, including mileage for visits within 15 miles of the hospice office, one way. Any mileage beyond that will be paid at .70/mile.

At First Care Hospice, we provide holistic, patient-centered end-of-life care with dignity, compassion, and respect. We believe in addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our patients and their families. We are currently seeking a Hospice Chaplain to join our interdisciplinary team and provide spiritual support and guidance during one of life's most meaningful transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and caregivers, regardless of faith tradition or belief system. Conduct assessments of spiritual needs as part of the comprehensive patient care plan. Offer counseling, prayer, and ritual services (as requested) in homes, facilities, or inpatient settings. Collaborate with the hospice care team to ensure spiritual needs are integrated into the overall plan of care. Provide bereavement support and/or participate in memorial services and grief counseling. Maintain accurate documentation of visits and services provided.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in theology, divinity, pastoral care, or related field Ordination or endorsement from a recognized religious body. Experience in pastoral care, hospice, or healthcare chaplaincy preferred. Ability to work compassionately with individuals from diverse backgrounds and belief systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community-based visits.

From $80.00 per hour
