Riverside, CA Job Details Part-time 12 hours ago Qualifications Volunteer support Volunteer management Team leadership Fundraising Mentoring Volunteer coordination Leadership Religious leadership Entry level Full Job Description The Grove Community Church Residency is a one to two year program that trains people to serve as a Church Planter, Lead Pastor in a church revitalization, or to be sent out as a Global Partner. Each resident will be provided with hands-on ministry experience, leadership development, and mentored discipleship. Residents will spend 25 hours a week serving at The Grove. Residents will need to provide their own funding (through other part-time or full-time work).

Residency Pastor Works with: Ministries, staff, and volunteers

Works:

Part-time, approximately 25 hours per week

RESIDENCY - YEAR ONE 80

%, YEAR TWO 20% Preach/speak one time per month in a Grove ministry. Rotate serving in every ministry at The Grove each month. Attend Board & Church Leadership Team meetings. Raise money for two-month global outreach trip chosen by The Grove. Serve on pastoral team. Meet weekly with Residency Pastor.

OTHER MINISTRY - YEAR ONE 20

%, YEAR TWO 80% Work in a secular job of a Grove Member's business. Lead and disciple volunteers and staff. Cultivate intimacy with God and growth in Christ-like character through personal and corporate spiritual disciplines. Participate in all staff/pastoral leadership meetings.
