First Baptist Church Carrabelle is prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor to lead our congregation and serve our church and community with faith, compassion, and a heart for ministry. We are a small, close-knit Southern Baptist church averaging approximately 50 worshippers on Sunday mornings. We are looking for a pastor who will provide spiritual leadership, biblical teaching, pastoral care, and guidance as we continue to grow in our faith and service to others. Responsibilities Provide biblically sound preaching and teaching during regular worship services. Provide pastoral care, counseling, prayer, and support to members of the congregation. Lead and encourage the church in worship, discipleship, evangelism, and outreach. Work collaboratively with church leadership and members to carry out the mission and ministries of the church. Be actively involved in the life of the congregation and the local community. Provide leadership and encouragement to church ministries, programs, and volunteers. Conduct weddings, funerals, baptisms, and other pastoral services as needed. Foster a welcoming, Christ-centered environment for individuals and families Compensation & Housing A parsonage is provided as part of the pastoral package. Utilities included.
