Reveal Fellowship is seeking a passionate, Spirit-filled Worship Leader who is deeply in love with Jesus and called to lead others into authentic encounters with His presence. This full-time ministry position combines spiritual leadership, musical direction, discipleship, and music education. The Worship Leader will oversee and develop the worship ministry at Reveal Fellowship while also serving as an instructor at the Reveal School of Music. We believe worship is far more than music or a scheduled portion of a church service. Worship is ministry. It is an opportunity to exalt Jesus, cultivate intimacy with God, and create an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit is free to move, lives are transformed, strongholds are broken, and hearts are awakened to the love and truth of Jesus Christ. The Worship Leader must be both a gifted musician and a disciple-maker, passionate about raising up worshipers, developing volunteer leaders, and investing in the next generation of musicians. We seek someone who carries a genuine calling to ministry and desires to help stoke the fires of revival in the hearts of others.
ABOUT REVEAL FELLOWSHIP
Reveal Fellowship is a church passionately in love with Jesus. We believe that Jesus Christ is our Senior Pastor and the Holy Spirit is our Worship Leader. Our vision is to raise up an Army of Light that displaces darkness (Ephesians 5:8; Romans 13:11-12; John 8:12; 1 Peter 2:9). We believe our generation desperately needs a revelation of Jesus in all His glory. Our calling is to proclaim the light, reveal the truth, and love Jesus while equipping believers to walk as He walked. Rather than focusing solely on gathering a crowd, we are passionate about seeing individuals healed, restored, equipped, and sent into the world as effective ministers of the Gospel. We believe that when the saints are equipped for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:12), they become an army empowered to reach the world for Christ. At Reveal, we place a high priority on both Spirit-led worship and the uncompromising teaching of God's Word. We desire worship gatherings that are biblically grounded, spiritually authentic, and responsive to the leading of the Holy Spirit rather than confined to a rigid program or schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Worship Leadership & Spiritual Direction Lead worship during weekend services, special gatherings, and other ministry events as needed. Cultivate authentic, passionate, Spirit-led worship that exalts Jesus and invites the congregation into deeper intimacy with Him. Remain sensitive to the Holy Spirit, allowing room for spontaneous worship, prophetic ministry, prayer, and other expressions consistent with Reveal's spiritual leadership and vision. Work closely with pastoral leadership to align worship with the spiritual direction of the church. Lead from personal intimacy with Jesus, spiritual maturity, humility, and a lifestyle of worship. Value the presence of God above performance, production, or personal recognition. 2. Team Leadership & Discipleship Recruit, develop, equip, and shepherd a growing team of musicians, vocalists, and worship volunteers. Cultivate a culture of love for Jesus, unity, humility, excellence, accountability, and spiritual hunger. Disciple team members, recognizing that serving in ministry is an important part of spiritual formation. Identify and raise up new worship leaders, musicians, and volunteer leaders who carry Reveal's heart and vision. Provide pastoral care, encouragement, prayer, and spiritual guidance to worship team members. Foster spiritual and musical growth; address challenges with biblical wisdom, grace, and healthy accountability. 3. Musical Excellence & Development Provide strong musical direction for a contemporary worship ministry with a modern worship/rock style. Lead worship effectively while playing guitar or piano. Select and prepare biblically sound songs aligned with the vision and direction of the church. Plan and lead rehearsals that develop musical excellence while maintaining a culture of worship rather than performance. Develop arrangements, transitions, and musical dynamics that support congregational participation and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Encourage creativity and musical growth, maintaining a healthy balance between preparation and spontaneity. 4. Ministry Organization & Collaboration Oversee worship team scheduling, communication, rehearsals, and preparation for services and events. Coordinate with pastoral leadership, production teams, and other ministry departments. Establish clear expectations, healthy rhythms, and accountability within the worship ministry. Support the broader mission of Reveal Fellowship as a collaborative member of the church leadership team. Demonstrate flexibility, initiative, organization, and a servant-hearted "whatever it takes" approach. 5. Reveal School of Music As part of this full-time position, the Worship Leader will serve as an instructor at the Reveal School of Music, teaching private and/or group lessons in their primary instrument of proficiency, as well as voice when applicable. This role provides an opportunity to invest in the next generation of musicians, helping students develop their musical gifts with excellence, creativity, and a passion for glorifying God.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Spiritual Character & Calling A genuine, growing, and passionate relationship with Jesus Christ. Baptized in the Holy Spirit, with a personal commitment to Spirit-led ministry and spiritual gifts. A clear calling to worship ministry, confirmed through spiritual fruit, leadership affirmation, and ministry experience. A strong commitment to the authority of Scripture and biblical truth. Spiritual maturity, humility, integrity, and willingness to serve under pastoral leadership. A heart for discipleship, pastoral care, and seeing people healed, restored, and set free through Jesus Christ. A genuine calling and commitment to serving the local church in South Florida. A personal testimony of God's transforming work and the ability to minister with authenticity and compassion. Musical & Leadership Qualifications Demonstrated experience leading contemporary congregational worship. Strong musical proficiency and the ability to lead worship while playing guitar or piano. A high-level understanding of music, arrangements, and direction in a contemporary worship/rock context. Experience recruiting, developing, and leading musicians and vocalists. Ability to provide spiritual leadership, discipleship, and pastoral care within a worship team. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to collaborate with pastors, staff, and volunteer ministry leaders. A teachable spirit, strong work ethic, and commitment to Reveal's vision, values, and culture.
THE HEART OF THE POSITION
We believe the most effective worship leaders are first and foremost worshipers. We are looking for someone who understands what it means to minister out of a place of brokenness, surrender, and personal encounter with Jesus—someone who is not content to simply lead songs, but longs to see the people of God encounter His presence and be forever changed. We desire a leader who sees musicians as disciples to be developed, not merely volunteers to be scheduled; who values spiritual fire as much as musical excellence; and who understands that worship is not about manufacturing an emotional experience, but about exalting Jesus and making room for the Holy Spirit to transform lives.
