Northwest Baptist Church is an independed baptist church location in Peoria, IL. We church is seeking a full-time pastor to fill the pulpit following the retirement of our pastor. The church was founded in 1961 and moved into a new building in 2000. The duties of the senior pastor are as follows: To give himself to prayer and study of the Word of God To preach, teach and expound on the Word of God Sunday Worship Service Adult Sunday School Class Wednesday Evening Bible Study and Prayer Meeting Administer the ordinances of the church Share in the pastoral care of the congregation along with the Elders and Deacons In 2024 Northwest Baptist started a web-base prayer ministry to connect with the needs of those in our immediate area. We have launched over twenty prayer campaigns have that have reached over 125,000 people with over 1,500 responing with a prayer request. We are both honored and humbled to pray for those God has brought to us.
