HIGHLAND HILLS CHURCH - SEEKING WORSHIP PASTOR

Highland Hills Community Church is seeking the person that God has chosen to lead us into the future in both our corporate and personal worship. Highland Hills is a thriving and growing church located in Glasgow, Kentucky, and we desire to connect people to a relationship with Jesus through His cross and resurrection from the dead. Since March 6 of 2011, HHCC has baptized nearly 1000 people into faith in Christ Jesus! And as of this posting, we have seen 143 people baptized in the past year alone! We are a church for all people, and our congregation reflects that. We engage regularly in community outreach through multiple and various ministries, and as such, we frequently minister to people from all walks of life. But most importantly, we are a church that is laser focused on the gospel, and everything we do is anchored in connecting people to Jesus. In 2018, we moved into our current 17,000+ square foot facility located in the heart of downtown Glasgow, and we have regular attendance of between 400 and 500 people (over the course of three services) on Sunday mornings. Our worship style is modern/contemporary, and we have multiple, dedicated, and talented praise teams that rotate on a weekly basis. We have invested substantially into sound equipment and supporting technology, and the systems for both broadcasting and worship production are on par with churches many times our size. To experience any one of our Sunday morning worship services online, visit our YouTube channel @HighlandHillsCC Our congregation is in need of a dynamic pastoral worship leader with the capacity to lead not only our corporate worship services, but to minister on a personal, pastoral level to the incredible people serving in the worship ministry at HHCC. This person will have (and continue to develop) the ability to build meaningful relationships with volunteers throughout the worship ministry as well as the larger church body. Above all else, this person must be passionate in their pursuit of the Lord Jesus Christ and His heart. This person must have a vision for biblical worship at HHCC, and the work ethic and personal discipline to carry out that vision. High-level organizational skills are required, along with the following: prior worship leading experience, above average public speaking skills, ability to read and create chord charts, ability to hear, sing, and teach vocal/harmony parts, proficiency in playing musical instruments (preferably piano/keys, but not required), previous experience with Planning Center Services, previous experience with Multi-Tracks software, excellent team building and leadership skills are all strongly suggested/preferred. This will be a full-time pastoral position, and one that will not be filled hastily. We are seeking the direction of the Lord Jesus first and foremost, and the selected candidate will demonstrate a sincere love for Jesus, a full understanding of our mission, vision, and core values, and will demonstrate a sincere love for His church at Highland Hills.
