JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this ministry is to coordinate a comprehensive and expanding ministry to bring our congregation into a personal and vibrant relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. The Pastor will be primarily responsible for leading and directing all aspects of the ministry along with the Elders. He will oversee the provision of high-quality pastoral care to the family members of the church. He will ensure the equipping and training of ministry teams along with the Elders. He will also be responsible for recruiting and developing leaders for the various ministries of the church. We are an urban church seeking to reach the lost and be a light in our neighborhood. DUTIES
  • Preach Sunday Worship Service
  • Partner with Pastoral team, Elders, the Education Department and United Assembly meetings
  • Lead and teach Wednesday prayer and bible study
  • Perform weddings, funerals, baptisms and visitations
  • Assist with the development of present and future Associate Minister
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A growing and personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ
  • Evidence of a calling into the ministry by God
  • Credentialed, or willing to be credentialed
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a ministry related field
  • Excellent communication skills in all forms (oral, written digital, etc.)
  • Experience in family ministry is preferred
  • Marriage is preferred
  • Must be positive, creative, a self-starter and team player
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Eldership/Pastoral Leadership Ministry 3 years minimum Candidate should provide a ministry related resume and references and send to above address
