Relationships that changed them. Questions they never answered. Things they still hope to say. For a Hospice Chaplain, those conversations aren't interruptions to the work. They are the work. Superior Hospice is looking for a compassionate Chaplain to support patients and families throughout the Northern Twin Cities Metro , helping people find meaning, connection, peace, and spiritual support during an incredibly personal stage of life. This Is More Than Religious Support Some patients will want prayer or scripture. Others may want to talk about their marriage, children, accomplishments, regrets, fears, or the legacy they're leaving behind. Some may have strong religious beliefs. Others may have complicated relationships with faith or no religious affiliation at all. Your responsibility isn't to provide everyone with the same answers. It's to understand what matters to each individual and help them explore it on their terms . Why Consider Superior Hospice? $21.63-$28.85/hour Mileage reimbursement Flexible scheduling based on patient needs and census Meaningful one-on-one patient and family relationships Provide care in homes and senior living communities Support individuals across different faith traditions and belief systems Help patients explore meaning, legacy, relationships, hope, and peace Collaborate with nurses, social workers, hospice aides, providers, and other professionals Be part of a growing hospice organization focused on whole-person care What You'll Do Provide individualized spiritual and pastoral care Complete spiritual assessments and contribute to plans of care Help patients explore meaning, legacy, grief, forgiveness, reconciliation, fear, and hope Offer prayer, scripture, reflection, rituals, or other spiritual practices when requested Support patients from religious and nonreligious backgrounds Provide spiritual and emotional support to family members and caregivers Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences Collaborate with the broader hospice team Connect patients with community clergy and spiritual resources when appropriate We're Looking for Someone Who Knows How to Meet People Where They Are Your background may include Chaplaincy, Pastoral Care, Church or Community Ministry, Healthcare Ministry, Hospice or Palliative Care, Bereavement, Grief Support, Senior Care, Counseling, or End-of-Life Ministry . More important is your ability to listen without judgment, ask thoughtful questions, respect different beliefs, navigate emotionally difficult conversations, and connect authentically with patients and families . Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Northern Twin Cities Metro are required. Help Someone Feel That Their Story Mattered. Pay:
