We value authenticity, relationships, and helping people genuinely follow Jesus together. Position Summary We are looking for more than someone to lead songs. The Worship Director will lead Christ-centered worship, develop our teams, and partner with the Pastor to help shape meaningful Sundays. A key opportunity is helping close the gap between the platform and the congregation. We want worship to be something we do together: "Let us exalt his name together" (Psalm 34:3), led with preparation, unity, and excellence. Core Responsibilities Plan and lead the musical and worship elements of weekly worship services. Collaborate with the Pastor to develop Scripture-centered, cohesive worship services. Recruit, equip, communicate with, and shepherd volunteer musicians and technology team members. Prepare for and lead effective weekly rehearsals. Oversee the preparation and execution of worship-related technology and presentation elements in partnership with the technology team. Intentionally help cultivate congregational participation in worship, strengthening the connection between those leading from the platform and those worshiping in the congregation. Ensure all worship elements are organized, engaging, and aligned with the church's mission and biblical teaching. Provide musical leadership that develops team members and maintains strong standards of preparation, musicianship, and excellence. Foster a culture of unity, humility, servant leadership, and continual growth within the worship ministry. Qualifications Demonstrates a growing and authentic personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Ability to lead musicians in creating a cohesive worship environment that encourages the congregation to participate rather than simply observe. Experience with worship planning and presentation tools is preferred, including ProPresenter 7, Planning Center, Loop Community, and PraiseCharts. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Works collaboratively, honestly, and respectfully with pastoral leadership and volunteers. Demonstrated ability to lead volunteers with humility and conviction, balancing encouragement with accountability while making decisions that best serve the congregation's worship experience.
