Duties Greet visitors warmly and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for all guests Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Prepare non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee and specialty drinks, adhering to food safety and food handling standards Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation surfaces, beverage stations, and seating areas Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage cash handling with precision and accountability Assist in food preparation tasks to support café operations and ensure quality standards are met Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail in food safety and beverage service Support food industry best practices by adhering to health regulations and safety protocols during drink and food service activities Qualifications Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail transactions Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse groups of people Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing sales records Knowledge of food handling, beverage preparation, and drink service standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Excellent time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities seamlessly Food safety certification or willingness to obtain training upon hire is desirable Join us as an Associate Monk to bring warmth, mindfulness, and exceptional service to our community! Pay:

$22.74 - $27.38 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
