Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Overnight Monitor to oversee safety, security, and well-being during the overnight shift from 12 AM to 8 AM. In this vital role, you will provide a calm and supportive environment for residents or clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and compassion. Your proactive approach will help maintain a secure, organized, and positive atmosphere throughout the night, fostering trust and stability for all individuals under your supervision. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Monitor individuals to ensure safety, security, and compliance with program guidelines Utilize appropriate behavior management and de-escalation techniques when necessary Assist with medications in accordance with established protocols and training Communicate effectively with residents, families, supervisors, and interdisciplinary team members Provide support in areas such as childcare, case management, social services, and daily living activities Assist with home and community-based care tasks as required Apply knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) guidelines when supporting housing-related programs Document incidents, observations, and required reports accurately and timely Qualifications & Requirements Experience or training in medication support preferred Knowledge of behavior management strategies and trauma-informed care Strong verbal and written communication skills Background or education in childcare, social work, behavioral health, or related fields is highly desirable Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Reliable, observant, and capable of maintaining professional boundaries Flexible schedule availability (evenings/weekends may be required) Preferred Skills Experience working with diverse and vulnerable populations Familiarity with supportive housing or reentry programs Basic documentation and reporting skills Why Join Us Meaningful work supporting individuals in transition Supportive, mission-driven team environment Opportunities for professional growth and training
