Job Summary The Resident Services Assistant provides administrative, programmatic, and operational support to the Director of Resident Services and the Resident Services Department. This position assists with resident programs, community outreach activities, data collection and reporting, and resident communications. The Resident Services Assistant serves as a key point of contact for residents, community partners, and service providers while helping ensure the efficient delivery of services that support resident self-sufficiency, education, wellness, and community engagement. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to interact effectively with residents from diverse backgrounds. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required to support resident programs, events, meetings, and community activities.

Provide administrative support to the Director of Resident Services and department staff, including scheduling, correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, meeting minutes, records, calendars, supplies, and departmental documentation.
Respond to telephone calls, emails, walk-in inquiries, and resident requests in a professional and timely manner. Resident Services and Outreach
Serve as an initial point of contact for residents and assist with applications, forms, surveys, registrations, referrals, and program participation.
Prepare resident communications and promote engagement in education, workforce, wellness, youth, senior, and family programs while maintaining confidentiality. Data, Reporting, and Program Support
Collect, maintain, and summarize program participation, outcome, performance, and survey data for reporting, audits, and program evaluations.
Coordinate with community partners, under the direction of the Director of Resident Services, to support resident-focused initiatives. Events, Partnerships, and General Support
Assist with planning resident events, workshops, community activities, volunteer efforts, partnerships, special projects, and strategic initiatives.
Represent the department at meetings, outreach events, community functions, and partner activities as assigned.
Education, Training, and Experience Education (one of the following) : Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Sociology, Psychology, Education, Public Administration, or a closely related field Associate degree and at least three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative support, resident services, case management, social services, nonprofit, housing, or community services experience Equivalent combination of education, training, and extensive experience in administrative support, resident services, case work, or human services.
Experience :
Experience working with affordable housing programs, public housing, HUD-funded programs, or nonprofit organizations. o Bilingual skills preferred, particularly in English and Spanish.
