Job Description

Riverside Foundation has an entry-level positions available for a Direct Support Professional in our Mundelein home! A great opportunity for a candidate who strives to lead and make a difference! The successful applicant must be able to pass a criminal background check, complete the TABE, and successfully pass the Medication Administration course. At least one year of experience as a DSP working with individuals with IDD. Good attendance, a valid Illinois driver's license, and a clean driving record are also required. Candidates must be at least 21-years-old.
Base pay:
$22.75 with an additional 1% for each year in the field. Overtime paid for any hours over 40 hrs/week.
Schedules:
(Full-Time) Monday 3p-11p, Tuesday 3p-11p, Friday 7:30a-3:30p
Saturday:
8a-9p
Sunday:
8a -3p OR Wednesday -
Sunday:
3p-11p Duties include:
  • Provide assistance to clients in areas of need
  • CILA setting supporting 4-5 men with focus on community opportunities and increasing independence
  • When assigned, attend Interdisciplinary Team meetings, and provide relevant information on client status in training programs and areas of need
  • Monitor and supervise clients to ensure safety and well-being
  • Communicate clients' needs to the
CILA QIDP
  • Drive and supervise clients on community outings
  • Encourage client participation in the greater community
  • Assist clients with food preparation, laundry, and other household tasks
  • Medication administration .
Strong organizational skills and documentation skills . Basic knowledge and comfort level with
Microsoft Office and Applications Pay:
$22.75 - $23.38 per hour
