Note:
20 hours per week, supporting the Sr. Program Director and the Residential Program.
Job Duties:
1. Ensures safe, therapeutic and compassionate environment for client population. 2. Provides the Senior Program Director in support in supervising managerial staff. 3. Assist program directors with tasks related to the administration of the program and function as designee for director as needed. 4. Actively participate in all aspects of program development including supporting managers with implementation of changes. 5. Conducts with employee orientation trainings. 6. Supports leadership in the implementation of trauma informed care and DBT. 7. Provide coaching and support to managers on supervising and training staff 8. Assist with coordination of the daily tasks, structures and therapeutic needs of the campus, such as effective use of de-escalation tools, and implementation of distress tolerance plans. 9. Provide feedback to managers and staff on trauma informed care approaches and need 10. Train and facilitate management led psychoeducation and skills groups in each house (NCCF) as well as support therapeutic activities. 11. Support managers and staff in interacting with families through a trauma and attachment informed lens. 12. May provide support and training at other programs as needed. 13. And other duties as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree:
B.A., preferred License and/or
Certification:
CPR/FA, will provide training.
Years and Type of Experience:
5+ year supervisory experience 10+years of behavioral industry experience with child population required. Therapeutic experience required and clear knowledge of our client population. Expertise in dialectal behavior therapy and trauma informed care.
Other Skills or Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, general computer skills, valid driver's license and ability to transport clients in the community
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform physical restraints and participate in recreational activities, visual and auditory acuity to supervise clients, and the ability todrive a car.
