We are seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team supporting adults in our Crisis Stabilization Unit in Waterville. This is a short-term residential program provides support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. As a Residential Crisis Worker
, you will help individuals stabilize, develop coping skills, and successfully transition back to their homes and communities.
We have full-time, part-time and per diem positions available.
What we offer:
$19 to $22.50 /hour base pay
Shift differentials for evenings and overnights
Up to $1,500 sign-on bonus
Meaningful work helping individuals during critical moments
Training opportunities
What You'll Do:
Provide support and supervision to adults receiving crisis stabilization
Help clients develop coping and daily living skills
Support a safe, structured residential environment
Work collaboratively with clinicians and crisis team members
Support transition planning by linkage and referral to supportive services and resources
Medication Administration with CRMA certification
Qualifications:
MHRT-1 certification or eligibility for provisional certification. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle, along with a minimum of $100,000/$300,000 liability and uninsured motorist coverage for potentially transporting clients. Strong communication and rapport-building skills.
Preferred skills:
Experience in residential setting or behavioral health
De-escalation and crisis support experience
Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team Sign-on with the Kennebec Behavioral Health team and help make a difference in the lives of Maine adults and families.

Experience:
Behavioral Health in a residential setting: 1 year (Preferred)
