Residential Assistant Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM $18.00-$21.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications Make a Difference Every Day Outcomes, Inc. is seeking a dedicated, organized, and compassionate Residential Assistant to join our team in a children's residential program serving youth with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, and complex support needs. This position is ideal for someone who is looking for a meaningful career where they can support children, help maintain an organized home environment, and contribute to a team focused on positive outcomes. The Residential Assistant serves as the operational backbone of the home, ensuring daily household functions run smoothly while supporting children who may exhibit significant behavioral challenges and require a structured, therapeutic environment. Schedule Monday through Friday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM Full-Time No overnight shifts Compensation & Benefits Competitive wage: $18.00-$21.00 per hour Paid training Opportunities for advancement Meaningful and rewarding work Supportive leadership team Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily household operations and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment. Complete grocery shopping, inventory management, and supply ordering. Prepare breakfast and lunch and complete meal preparation for the afternoon and evening shifts to ensure meals are ready for residents and staff throughout the day. Coordinate medical, dental, therapy, and other appointments. Assist with transportation planning and vehicle readiness. Support children in daily living activities, community participation, recreation, and skill development. Implement behavior support plans, safety plans, and individualized support plans. Assist staff with household organization, schedules, routines, and resident needs. Maintain accurate documentation and communication records. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with children, developmental disabilities, behavioral health, human services, or residential care preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused during challenging situations. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to pass a DHS Background Study.
