The Opportunity Appolo Heating & Cooling is creating a new Residential HVAC Comfort Advisor position to support our continued growth in the Wappingers Falls market. We're looking for an experienced home-services sales professional who knows how to earn a homeowner's trust, assess their comfort needs, and recommend the right HVAC solution for their home and budget. This is a consultative sales role — not a high-pressure sales position. The right candidate will have experience managing or generating more than $2 million in annual revenue, and will know how to balance customer service, technical accuracy, follow-through, and sales performance. What You'll Do Meet with homeowners to evaluate their heating, cooling, indoor air quality, and overall comfort needs Perform and interpret Manual J load calculations Develop accurate residential HVAC system recommendations and proposals Clearly explain equipment options, financing solutions, warranties, and installation expectations Build trust with customers through honest, professional, consultative communication Follow up consistently on open estimates and sales opportunities Maintain accurate customer, proposal, and sales information Partner with service, installation, dispatch, and operations teams to create a smooth customer experience Achieve established revenue, close-rate, average-ticket, and customer-satisfaction goals Represent Appolo Heating & Cooling professionally in customers' homes and throughout the community What You'll Bring Proven sales experience within HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or another residential home-services business Demonstrated experience managing or producing $2 million or more in annual revenue Working knowledge of residential HVAC systems and replacement sales Experience performing and applying Manual J calculations Strong consultative selling, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams Strong organization, follow-up, and time-management skills Ability to communicate technical information in a clear, customer-friendly way Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Compensation & Company-Provided Resources $50,000 annual base salary 5% commission on sales Potential total annual compensation of $150,000 or more when performance metrics are achieved Company vehicle Company-paid gas card Company computer Company phone Why Appolo Heating & Cooling?
