Make a Difference for Families When They Need It Most We're seeking a compassionate and organized Family Services Coordinator to support families whose children are receiving medical treatment at nearby hospitals. In this role, you'll help create a welcoming, supportive environment by assisting families with housing services, resources, and day-to-day needs during a challenging time. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the medical field, customer service, hospitality, nonprofit organizations, social services, healthcare support, housing programs, or community engagement who enjoys helping others and thrives in a people-focused environment. The Family Services Coordinator reports to the Family Services Manager and serves as a key member of the Family Services team. What You'll Do Family & Guest Support Welcome families and guide them through the registration and check-in/check-out process Coordinate room assignments and provide access to guest accommodations and shared spaces Serve as a resource for families by helping connect them with transportation, lodging, and other support services Respond to guest needs with empathy, professionalism, and problem-solving skills. Assist families during difficult or stressful situations while maintaining a calm and supportive presence Operations & Team Collaboration Maintain accurate records in the guest management system and complete required documentation Collaborate with housekeeping and operations staff to ensure rooms are ready for incoming families Provide shift updates to ensure seamless communication between team members. Support volunteers by providing direction, answering questions, and helping ensure a positive guest experience Assist with special projects and provide backup support to the Family Services Manager as needed What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required At least 2 years of experience in the medical field, customer service, hospitality, nonprofit services, healthcare support, housing, front desk operations, administrative support, or a related field Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain organized and manage multiple priorities Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database entry Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed Preferred Qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish (Highly Preferred) Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field Experience working with families, patients, guests, residents, volunteers, or community members Success in This Role You may be a great fit if you: Enjoy helping people during important moments in their lives Can build rapport quickly and communicate with empathy Stay calm and solution-focused when challenges arise Are highly organized and detail-oriented Work well independently and as part of a team Value diversity, inclusion, and treating every family with dignity and respect Why Join Us?
