Job Description

Resident Services Assistant At Piedmont Crossing, we are committed to enriching the lives of our residents by creating meaningful opportunities for engagement, connection, wellness, and lifelong learning. The Resident Services Assistant plays a key role in fostering a vibrant community atmosphere by planning and implementing programs and activities that enhance residents' physical, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Essential Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate a diverse calendar of recreational, educational, cultural, and social activities designed to support residents' overall quality of life. Create opportunities for entertainment, exercise, creative expression, relaxation, and meaningful social interaction. Encourage resident participation and engagement through programs that promote inclusion, independence, and community involvement. Organize and lead both on-site and off-site activities, outings, and special events to enhance resident experiences and well-being. Assist residents with day-to-day concerns by coordinating appropriate resources and support services. Welcome and orient new residents, helping them become connected and involved within the Piedmont Crossing community. Develop and maintain monthly activity calendars, newsletters, schedules, phone lists, and other resident communications. Assist the Director with volunteer recruitment, volunteer programming, and related community engagement initiatives. Transport residents to activities and appointments as needed while maintaining a safe and positive experience. Maintain a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and auto liability insurance in accordance with EveryAge and insurance carrier requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver's license and ability to meet EveryAge's automobile insurance coverage requirements. Experience working in an assisted living, skilled nursing, senior living, or related healthcare setting preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year of experience coordinating recreational, wellness, or activity programming for older adults. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
