Activities Assistant Responsibilities:

• Lead or assist with planned activities as assigned by supervisor.
• Conduct both small and large group activities.
• Record attendance and level of participation on the Individual Activity Record.
• Encourage and escort residents to the activities area and assist them from the activity area when necessary with the assistance from other appropriate departments.
• Record and deliver residents mail in a timely manner.

Activities Assistant Requirements:

• High School graduate.
• Must have an expressed desire to work with geriatric residents.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Sense of integrity and ability to keep resident information confidential.
