Job Summary Uplift & Inspire LLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable Life Coach / Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism in their homes and communities. In this role, you will help individuals build independence, work toward goals in their Individual Support Plan (ISP), develop daily living skills, and participate in meaningful community activities. Staff are expected to promote choice, dignity, safety, and inclusion while providing person-centered support. Duties

• Provide direct support through In-Home and Community Supports, Companion Services, and Community Participation Support.
• Assist individuals with daily living skills, including communication, socialization, meal preparation, hygiene, and household routines as needed.
• Support individuals with community outings, recreational activities, volunteering, and building social connections.
• Help individuals work toward goals outlined in their ISP.
• Encourage independence, choice, and self-advocacy.
• Provide behavioral and emotional support using individualized strategies.
• Monitor health, safety, and well-being and report concerns as required.
• Complete accurate daily service notes and other required documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all agency policies and applicable Chapter 6100 requirements.
• Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and individual team meetings when needed.

Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Must be at least 18 years old. Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, or behavioral health needs preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for community-based positions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and adapt to individual needs. Ability to complete clear and accurate documentation. Must be able to lift and/or assist with approximately 25-50 pounds when required. Must complete all required agency and Chapter 6100 trainings.
