We currently have a full time Behavioral Interventionist position available at the Samuel Morey Elementary School. Behavioral Interventionists provide support to students in their classroom setting.

The primary functions are:

provide support and related activities (case consultation, attend IEP meetings, treatment team meetings, provide case management) to students in the school setting with a focus towards helping students to meet their educational goals. modeling of appropriate problem solving skills, social skills, life skills, and a healthy lifestyle, while providing opportunities to enhance vocational skills and participate in physical education programs. This position may serve as liaison for schools, DCF, and other agencies and may assist in providing de-escalation and behavioral management and support as needed.
