Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Social Services to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, program development, and management, with a focus on working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee social service programs tailored to meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Manage program budgets effectively and ensure financial resources are allocated appropriately
  • Supervise and support a team of social workers and support staff
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and funding sources
  • Implement strategies for program growth and improvement
  • Provide administrative oversight to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field
  • Proven experience in program development and management within the social services sector
  • Strong administrative skills including budgeting, reporting, and resource allocation
  • Experience managing teams and providing supervision to staff members
