RY Services is seeking a dependable, engaging, and organized Adult Group Facilitator BHT & Youth Mentor to join our team. This is a unique full-time position that combines adult behavioral health group facilitation at our Outpatient Treatment Center in Tempe with one-to-one mentoring of youth involved with Juvenile Probation throughout Maricopa County. The position offers a combination of structure and flexibility . You will have a consistent morning schedule facilitating adult behavioral health programming, followed by flexibility in the afternoon and evening to coordinate mentoring sessions with your assigned youth caseload. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with both adults and adolescents, is comfortable leading groups, can build positive relationships with youth while maintaining professional boundaries, and wants a role that includes both facility-based and community-based work. What Your Schedule Looks Like Monday-Friday | Adult Group Facilitation Approximately 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. You will generally work onsite at the RY Services Outpatient Treatment Center facilitating and supporting adult behavioral health programming. Afternoons & Evenings | Youth Mentoring After the morning outpatient schedule, you will have flexibility to coordinate mentoring appointments with your assigned youth based on youth and family availability. Mentoring services are provided throughout Maricopa County , including in individuals' homes and other approved community settings. Referrals are all over Maricopa County and cannot be assigned based off of location. Some later evening and occasional weekend availability will be needed based on youth and family schedules. There is flexibility in how mentoring hours are coordinated as long as assigned services, documentation, and program expectations are consistently met. What You'll DoAdult Behavioral Health Group Facilitation As a Behavioral Health Technician and primary group facilitator, you will: Facilitate structured adult behavioral health and substance use groups. Use RY Services-approved curriculum, lesson plans, activities, and clinical guidance. Prepare for assigned groups and maintain an organized group schedule. Lead discussions and structured activities in an engaging and professional manner. Encourage appropriate participation and help clients connect group topics to treatment and recovery goals. Maintain group structure, professional boundaries, and a safe therapeutic environment. Redirect disruptive behaviors, side conversations, or conflicts appropriately. Reinforce coping skills, emotional regulation, healthy communication, accountability, problem-solving, and recovery skills. Observe client behavior, mood, participation, and engagement during groups. Communicate behavioral changes, safety concerns, or significant disclosures to clinical staff. Recognize when clinical intervention or assessment by a Behavioral Health Professional is needed. Complete accurate and timely documentation for assigned groups and client interactions. Assist with authorized client transportation when assigned. Juvenile Mentoring As a Youth Mentor, you will provide individualized mentoring to youth ages 12-17 involved with Juvenile Probation .
You will:
Meet one-to-one with assigned youth throughout Maricopa County. Provide mentoring services in individuals' homes and other approved community locations. Build supportive relationships with youth while maintaining clear professional boundaries. Help youth work toward individualized service plan goals.
Support development of:
Decision-making skills Accountability Emotional regulation Communication Conflict resolution Problem-solving Pro-social behavior Positive peer relationships Help youth understand how choices and behaviors connect to consequences, probation expectations, and future goals. Address areas such as school challenges, negative peer influence, family conflict, substance use, behavioral concerns, poor decision-making, and lack of positive recreation. Engage youth in structured skill-building and approved community-based activities. Support school engagement, employment readiness, future planning, and positive community involvement. Communicate professionally with parents/guardians, probation personnel, supervisors, and other authorized team members. Complete accurate progress notes and required documentation for every mentoring service. Report safety concerns, significant disclosures, suspected abuse or neglect, or other mandated reporting concerns immediately. Provide authorized transportation to youth when connected to an approved mentoring service or activity. Transportation This position requires regular travel throughout Maricopa County . A company vehicle may be available for authorized work-related travel, mentoring services, and client transportation based on vehicle availability and RY Services policy. Employees must maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record and follow all agency transportation and vehicle-use requirements. What We're Looking ForRequired Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card In Person CPR/First Aid At least 2 years of experience in behavioral health, outpatient treatment, human services, or a comparable direct-service setting. At least 2 years of Eeperience working with adolescents or justice-involved youth. At least 2 years of experience facilitating, co-facilitating, or supporting structured groups. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to pass required background checks and employment screening. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong documentation and organizational skills. Ability to maintain professional boundaries. Ability to work independently in community-based settings. Ability to work effectively with both adults and adolescents. Flexibility for afternoon, evening, and occasional weekend mentoring appointments. You'll Be a

Are dependable and follow through on scheduled services. Take documentation and compliance seriously. Communicate proactively when there is a concern, cancellation, barrier, or change. Are comfortable balancing group facilitation, mentoring appointments, travel, documentation, and communication.
