Michael's House serves young adults who are aging out of foster care and transitioning into independent adulthood. Many of the youth we serve have experienced significant trauma, instability, disrupted relationships, housing insecurity, and other adverse life experiences. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, family-centered environment where young people can heal, grow, and develop the tools necessary to thrive. We are seeking an individual who possesses genuine empathy, emotional maturity, strong professional boundaries, and a deep commitment to serving youth with dignity, respect, and hope. Preferred Qualifications

• Preference will be given to applicants who:
• Hold a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from an accredited institution.
• Have previous experience working with foster youth, at-risk youth, youth experiencing homelessness, or young adults transitioning from foster care.
• Possess knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and practices. Demonstrate the ability to build healthy, professional relationships with youth from diverse backgrounds.
• Must pass background, driving and psychological checks required for licensed group center staff Understand the unique challenges faced by youth who have experienced childhood trauma, neglect, abuse, family disruption, and system involvement.

Essential Responsibilities The BSW Social Worker will work collaboratively with the House Parent and leadership team to support residents in achieving personal, educational, emotional, and independent living goals. Responsibilities include

• -Provide supportive case management and individualized guidance to residents.
• Assist youth with goal setting, life skills development, and progress tracking.
• Help connect residents with community resources, educational opportunities, healthcare providers, employment supports, and mental health services.
• Document resident interactions, goals, and service activities as required.
• Participate in resident assessments and individualized support planning.
• Support crisis intervention efforts when appropriate and within the scope of the position.
• Encourage healthy communication, conflict resolution, and personal accountability among residents.
• Maintain a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach in all interactions.
• Collaborate regularly with the House Parent regarding resident needs, concerns, successes, and intervention strategies.
• Participate in team meetings and program development activities as requested.
• Uphold the mission, values, policies, and professional standards of Michael's House. Schedule

The schedule will be:

Mon. through Sun.

• Day Shift
• 6 am
• 1 pm.
• Night shift
• 1 pm
• 8 pm We are looking for three weekday House Parent Support Staff. Applicants should be dependable, responsive, and willing to maintain consistent communication regarding scheduling and resident care. Compensation
• 22.00 an hour
