Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Youth Specialist Crosswinds Youth Services, a youth shelter for homeless and runaway youth, is seeking a Youth Specialist.

Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED. Two years' experience working with youth. Valid Driver's License with clean driving record. (Will be required to operate a 15-passenger van or other vehicles). Employer does background check (state background check). Employer does drug testing. Responsibilities Directly supervises and facilitates the activities of youth residing in the Shelter. Implements and coordinates plans regarding the care and development of Shelter clients as the upkeep of the facility. Handles crisis calls, other calls and visitors. The incumbent is required to work with confidential information Works up to 40 hours per week. Will be working with youth Diversity, Equitable & Inclusion Crosswinds is committed to building and developing a diverse workforce so that we can better understand and serve the multifaceted cultures and identities of our youth and families.
