Recruitment Notes The incumbent is responsible for social casework, providing welfare services to adults and children. The incumbent is responsible for overseeing a minimum of 60 cases. The role also involves determining eligibility for various types of public assistance within a county social service program. Employees in this role conduct field and office investigations related to requests for financial and medical assistance, psychiatric treatment, social service referrals, vocational rehabilitation, and child protective care within county welfare or health programs.
