1 Vesta, Inc. is a not for profit, financially sound, mental health company which is expanding throughout the Maryland area. Vesta provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare to include clinic, day program, and residential homes for those suffering from mental health disorders. Vesta, Inc. is currently seeking an individual to work in the community, home, and our center in California, MD with individuals and families suffering from mental illness in an effort to enhance their quality of life. Service area is primarily St. Mary's County but could require some travel to Charles and Calvert Counties, as we are looking to expand our service area. Services provided are to be individualized and based upon a detailed needs assessment. This individual would provide services to assist clients with learning and developing independent living skills, social skills, illness management and strategies, and self-care skills. Support is also to be provided to clients with accessing and coordinating benefits, additional services, and community-based resources. Hours are flexible, Primarily Part-time Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5pm; Some evenings availability

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Health and Human Services field; and/or

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the behavioral health field

Valid Driver's License; and reliable mode of transportation

Ability to maintain a flexible schedule

Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

SKILLSET

Conduct visits for adults and adolescents, utilizing a blend of onsite (office) and offsite (home/community) services.

Facilitating Groups

Be available to come to the office at least once a week for team meetings and collaborative sessions with the CPRP team.

Navigate and connect clients to relevant community resources, offering guidance to support their vocational, educational, family, social, and daily life choices.

Demonstrate proficiency in completing the DLA-20 assessment tool.

Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients at all times

Attention to detail and follow through

Strong computer skills, with familiarity to the Microsoft products

Able to coach and teach with the purpose to obtain outcomes

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range:

Payment will be structured on a fee-for-service basis, meaning compensation will be provided monthly per completed service rather than an hourly or salaried rate.

Other Compensation:

Employees are eligible for bonuses (variable, depending on company and individual performance) and paid training.

PTO/Sick Leave:

employees can accrue up to 96 hours of PTO in the first year (pro-rated based on start date and hours worked). Employees can accrue up to 40 hours of sick leave per calendar year (pro-rated based on start date and hours worked).

Retirement:

403(b) plan participation available at hire. Employer matching after 1000 hours of service. Discretionary employer contributions are given at least once a year.
