Watertown, SD Independent Living Choices is seeking a Full-Time Independent Living Specialist for our Watertown Office. Independent Living Specialists work alongside people with disabilities to help them identify and access needed services.

Starting wage is between $17 -$19 per hour, depending on qualifications.

Independent Living Specialist:

No two days as an Independent Living Specialist are the same. As an Independent Living Specialist, you'll spend time in the office, local communities, and in the homes of people with disabilities. You will provide direct services to participants, help them identify and access resources and services, make referrals, participate in outreach activities, facilitate peer support groups, transition classes, and more! Independent Living Specialist:

The right candidate will be self-motivated and passionate about helping others. Qualified candidates will excel in problem solving, verbal communication, written communication, and organizational skills. A bachelor's degree in human services, social work or a related field would be acceptable. An equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred, but not required.
