Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, driven, and action-oriented Veteran Resource & Housing Navigator to join our frontline team. This is a highly dynamic, community-based role where you won't just be managing paperwork—you will be walking directly alongside veterans and their families to prevent and end homelessness. How You Will Make an Impact Fight Veteran Homelessness on the Front Lines Be the boots on the ground: Conduct extensive community outreach to identify veterans and their families who are in need or at risk of losing their housing.
Open doors to housing:
Partner closely with our Outreach Coordinator, local landlords, and housing organizations to break down barriers and secure safe, stable living arrangements.
Build custom lifelines:
Assist veterans in navigating complex systems to quickly locate, access, and secure critical VA benefits and local community resources.
Maintain excellence in care:
Complete screenings and grant documentation with total accuracy, professionalism, and integrity, ensuring our programmatic funding continues to serve those in need. What You Bring to the
Team Education:
A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, though equivalent field experience is highly valued.
Experience & Trust:
Prior experience working with veterans, their families, or individuals experiencing housing instability. Case management and community fieldwork experience are highly preferred.
Veteran Status Preferred:
We deeply value the unique perspective and shared lived experience that veterans bring to this work—veteran status is a major plus.

Excellent writing, interpersonal, and public speaking skills. You can effectively advocate for a veteran in front of a local landlord or collaborate smoothly with the Veterans Administration.
